Access Database Developer - Contract
SmithBucklin Corporation – Courtesy Associates, Inc - April 2005 – Present

I have been working with SmithBucklin Corporation the nation’s leading association management and professional services company providing the Courtesy Associates, event management team, supporting their technical needs such as MS Access database development and use. I determined the data needs of clients; utilize MS Access to create functional relational databases, queries and reports; working closely with meetings team to provide continuous support or improvements to databases.

Access Database/VB Application Developer
Embassy of the state of Eritrea - Oct 2001- April 2005

For the past four years I have focused on building database solution for the Embassy of Eritrea. The solution were implemented using MS Access 2000 mainly and MS access 97/2002 some times. I have created a database for the Embassy of Eritrea to store and analyze their data. I have a working knowledge of all aspects of the database development cycle. Experience includes requirements analysis, database design, upgrades, ongoing maintenance and support. I developed a database that make sure data integration, create relation ship among tables, identified field (entities). I wrote extensive queries to organize and simplify large quantities of data, for daily, weekly and monthly reports. I also used queries to transfer and break the their data from Excel 2000 and 97 to the newly created tables. I formatted and customized data for printing by using access and Crystal reports 9.0. I wrote VB 6.0 programming and access Forms to display and enter the contents to the tables.
Developed and Maintained Eritrean events Web pages using Dreamweaver MX, MS Front page 98/2000, Adobe photoshope 6.0
